Lone Rock Community Library Board Meeting Minutes March 3, 2025 • Call to Order & Welcome – The meeting was called to order by Donna Gorman at 5:32 p.m. Board Members Present – Donna Gorman, Amanda Diehl, and Pat Adams, along with Village Board Representative Brad Seymour and school representative Misty Frederick, and Dee Munz. Absent: Library Director – Troy Rinehart. • Approval of Agenda and Minutes – Brad made a motion to approve the agenda and February meeting notes; seconded by Misty. • Public Comment – Dee mentioned that she has handed-off the village-wide rummage sale organization to Jessie at the Royal Bank. The rummage sales will be held the last weekend of April. o It was also suggested that a story be read each week during story time. • Reports o Treasurer’s Report – The checking account total was $3,822.38. The CD totals were $47,372.61 and $168,521.43. o Director’s Report – o No report since Troy was not at the meeting. • New Business – o Annual report was completed and submitted o LSTA grants will not be guaranteed after June 4 o Troy has created a draft of a fee and donation policy o The display case at the front of the library has not been changed for over a year. Pat will check with the history group to see if they would be interested in using it to display some of their items. We may also be moving the case. • Old Business – o Summer programs, parade, and other ideas – School is out the first week of June. The library summer programs will include 10 weeks from June 12 th August 12. Some possible people who might be interested in helping out with the programs are Andrea Wunnicke may want to do a presentation and Dan Hard might be able to do a program. • Bill Presentation – there were no bills to review. • Announcements – none • Adjournment – Pat made a motion to adjourn the meeting; it was seconded by Amanda.
