8:16 AM Councilwoman Suzie Price recognized the Commission tenure of William Lorbeer, and
presented him with a certificate
CHAIR REPORT
8:28 AM Chair Lorbeer commented on the LBT Employee Bus Pass Program and some of his
most significant accomplishments with the Commission. He stated he will remain involved, and
welcomed the newest commissioner, Matthew Peterson.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Members of the public are invited to address the
Commission on items of interest to the public within Commission jurisdiction.
Each speaker will be limited to three minutes unless that time is extended by the
Chair. Public participation will be heard without discussion or action on the issues
raised.

MINUTES
An amended motion was made by Commissioner Forsberg,
seconded by Jeffer, to approve recommendation, and to report
back to the Commission at the March meeting with more project
detail, including scope and cost; determine if there is a source of
Library repayment of project cost; clarify that project cost will be
funded by CFD 2 and CFD 1 revenue. The motion carried by the
following vote:
Yes: 5 - Eric Forsberg, Joy Starr, Marsha Jeffer, William W. Lorbeer
and David Witzling

5. 17-011BS Recommendation to approve expenditure not to exceed $1,250,000 from
the Belmont Shore Parking and Business Improvement Area Advisory
Commission parking meter revenue for a project to improve the medians
located on East Second Street and within the boundaries of the Belmont
Shore Parking and Business Improvement Area.
