BROADWAY, STE. 400 CONDEMNATION MINUTES LONG BEACH, CA 90802, 1:30 PM REGULAR MEETING - 1:30 P.M. ROLL CALL Commissioners Eric Witten, Jim Thompson, Michael Hamilton, Charles Present: Whitehead and Ethel Powers Commissioners Diane L. Arnold and Michael W. McCarthy Excused: CALL TO ORDER Chairman Thompson opened the meeting at 1:40 p.m. in the Code Enforcement conference room. SWEARING OF WITNESSES Chairman Thompson referred to Ordinance No.C-5232, asked for all persons who planned to give testimony, to stand, raise their right hand, and they were sworn in by Myeesha Ayala. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR MAY 15, 2017 It was moved by Board Member Powers and seconded by Board Member Whitehead to approve the minutes as submitted. The motion carried 4-1. Board Member Witten abstained, he was not present at the May 15, 2017 meeting. 1 CASE NO. 7876-07-17: 5351 CEDAR AVE: HECTOR RAMIREZ, OWNER, CE CASE NO. CEHC237242, COUNCIL DISTRICT 8 ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION APPEAL CASE Chairman Thompson called for the owner or representative to appear before the Board and neither the owner nor a representative appeared on behalf of this request to appeal the Administrative Citation. It was moved by Board Member Whitehead and seconded by Board Member Witten to conclude the hearing, determine that the appellant is the Responsible Party and the cited violations did exist on the date the citation was issued.
