Arnold, Michael W. Present: McCarthy, Charles Whitehead and Ethel Powers Commissioners Michael Hamilton Absent: CALL TO ORDER Chairman Jim Thompson opened the meeting at 1:36 p.m. in the Code Enforcement Conference Room. Board Member Charles Whitehead arrived at 1:37 p.m. thereafter role call. SWEARING OF WITNESSES Chairman Thompson referred to Ordinance No. C-5232, asked for all persons who planned to give testimony, to stand, raise their right hand, and they were sworn in by Myeesha Ayala. 1 APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FOR NOVEMBER 5, 2018 It was moved by Vice-Chairwoman Arnold and seconded by Board Member Powers to approve the minutes as submitted. Vice-Chairwoman Arnold also made a note that Chairman Thompson was missing from the roll call. Chairman Thompson is now serving at-large and his term is extended through 2019. CEHC248813, COUNCIL DIST. 3 ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION CASE Chairman Thompson called for the owner or representative to appear before the Board and the owner, Robert Wyatt Sr. 16722 Bolero Ln., Huntington Beach, CA 92649 and the owner's son Robert Wyatt Jr. 16722 Bolero Ln., Huntington Beach, CA 92649, both appeared before the Board. It was moved by Board Member McCarthy and seconded by Board Member Witten to conclude the hearing, determine that the cited party is the current owner and responsible party of the subject property located at 2743 E. 2nd Street and the cited violations did exist on the date the citation was issued. 3 18-012BE TRIENNIAL CODE ADOPTION PRESENTATION It was moved by Vice-Chairwoman Arnold and seconded by Board Member Whitehead to approve the modifications to the Triennial Code Adoption.
