ROLL CALL Commissioners Eric Witten, Jim Thompson, Diane L. Arnold and Ethel Powers Present: Commissioners Michael W. McCarthy and Charles Whitehead Excused: Commissioners Michael Hamilton Absent: SWEARING OF WITNESSES Chaiman Thompson referred to Ordinance No. 5232, asked for all persons who planned to give testimony to stand, raise their right hand, and they were sworn in by Elbert DuBose. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES 1 19-037BE Recommendation to approve the minutes from March 18, 2019. It was moved by Vice-Chairwoman Arnold and seconded by Board Member Powers to approve the minutes as submitted. The motion carried unanimously. CEGC257849 ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION APPEAL CASE On April 15, 2019 the owner contacted city staff to request a continuance. It was moved by Board Member Witten and Seconded by Board Member Powers to deny the request for a continuance and deny his appeal. The motion carried unanimously. OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS DATE SET FOR NEXT HEARING: MAY 20, 2019 ADJOURNMENT 3 19-038BE Motion for adjournment It was moved by Vice-Chairwoman Arnold and Seconded by Board Member Witten to adjourn the meeting at 1:39 p.m. The motion carried unanimously.
