MINUTES 1 Recommendation to approve the Minutes for July 19, 2021 It was moved by Board Member Chambers and seconded by Board Member Powers to approve the Minutes as submitted. OCEAN BOULEVARD APPEALS AND QUEEN MARY CONFERENCE ROOM, 1:30 PM CONDEMNATION MINUTES Bureau Manager, Karl Wiegelman provided an update on 2959 Chestnut, per the request of the Board. The property has been cleaned and the owner is not currently accessing the house. The City is in the process of contacting the family members for their assistance in addition to seeking receivership. It was moved by Vice-Chairman Whitehead and seconded by Board Member Thompson to request a progress update on this case at the next meeting of September 20, 2021. SWEARING OF WITNESSES REGULAR AGENDA 2 CASE NO. 7923-08-21: 2360 E. 15TH STREET; WILLIAM LITTLE, OWNER, CE CASE NO. CEHC275014 ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION APPEAL HEARING Chairman Witten called for the owner or representative to appeal on behalf of the case and William Little, 2360 E. 15th Street, Long Beach CA, owner, appeared on behalf of the case. It was moved by Board Member Thompson and seconded by Board Member Powers to conclude the hearing, determine that the cited party is the current owner and responsible party of the subject property located at 2360 E. 15th Street/ 2344 E. 15th Street, and the violations did exist on the date the citation was issued. The motion carried unanimously. 3 CASE NO. 7924-08-21: 2792 EASY AVENUE; KENNETH PARRISH, OWNER, CE CASE NO. CEAC275337 ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION CASE Chairman Witten called for the owner or representative to appear on behalf of the case and Kenneth Parrish, 2792 Easy Avenue, Long Beach CA., owner, appeared on behalf of the case. It was moved by Chairman Witten and seconded by Vice-Chairman Whitehead to continue the case to the next scheduled meeting on September 20, 2021. It was moved by Board Member Thompson and seconded by Board Member Powers to adjourn the meeting at 2:56 p.m. The motion carried unanimously.
