ROLL CALL Commissioners Daryl Crouse, Richard Hernandez, Chris Karadjov, Jamone Pili, Present: Ciara Calsita, David Gauthier and Deaka McClain Commissioners Jessica Marquez Excused: FLAG SALUTE Commissioner Crouse led the flag salute. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was no public participation. A motion was made by Vice Chair Gauthier, seconded by Commissioner Hernandez, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Daryl Crouse, Richard Hernandez, Chris Karadjov, Jamone Pili, Ciara Calsita, David Gauthier and Deaka McClain Absent: 1 - Jessica Marquez NEW BUSINESS 2. 17-052CA Recommendation to elect new officers to the Executive Board, including Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary. Commissioner Crouse was the only nominee for secretary, he accepted. Commissioners McClain and Karadjov were nominated for vice chair, both accepted. Commissioner McClain took the majority of the vote and is now vice chair. Commissioner Gauthier was the only nominee for chair, he accepted. 3. 17-053CA Recommendation to reassign commissioners to standing committees - Accessibility, Transportation & Services and Youth, Employment & Programs. A motion was made by Vice Chair Gauthier, seconded by Secretary Calsita, to approve recommendation. A motion was made by Vice Chair Gauthier, seconded by Commissioner Hernandez, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Daryl Crouse, Richard Hernandez, Chris Karadjov, Jamone Pili, Ciara Calsita, David Gauthier and Deaka McClain Excused: 1 - Jessica Marquez According to the bylaws, the Annual Report Ad-Hoc Committee will be made up exclusively of the executive committee - Commissioners Gauthier, McClain & Crouse. Commissioner Crouse will join the Events & Calendar Ad-Hoc Committee. 5. 17-055CA Recommendation to send a letter of reccomendation to the City Manager regarding the necessity of trash cans in all of our men's accessible restrooms in the City's public facilities. A motion was made by Commissioner Pili, seconded by Secretary Calsita, to approve recommendation. Sent back to ad-hoc committee. A motion was made by Commissioner Karadjov, seconded by Commissioner Crouse, to laid over.
