A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 2. 19-0706 Recommendation to refer to City Attorney damage claims received between July 8, 2019 and July 15, 2019. A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 3. 19-0707 Recommendation to approve the destruction of records for the Office of the City Clerk; and adopt resolution. A motion was made to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. RES-19-0113 on the Consent Calendar. Enactment No: RES-19-0113 4. 19-0708 Recommendation to approve the destruction of records for Financial Management Department, Towing & Lien Sales Division; and adopt resolution. A motion was made by Councilman Austin, seconded by Councilmember Pearce, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Pearce, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Andrews, Uranga, Austin and Richardson 6. 19-0704 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents and any needed subsequent amendments with the State of California, to accept and expend Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds totaling $4,289,549; and, authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute agreements and amendments with necessary WIOA training provider vendors. (Citywide) Councilwoman Mungo spoke. A motion was made by Councilmember Richardson, seconded by Councilmember Uranga, to approve recommendation. OCEAN BOULEVARD COUNCIL CHAMBER, 5:00 PM 7. 19-0646 Recommendation to declare ordinance amending the Long Beach Municipal Code by amending Sections 21.15.870; Table 32-1 of Chapter 21.32, Table 33-2 of Chapter 21.33, and Section 21.45.130; and by adding Section 21.15.875, all relating to drive-through facilities, read and adopted as read. (Citywide) A motion was made by Vice Mayor Andrews, seconded by Councilmember Pearce, to approve recommendation and adopt Ordinance No. ORD-19-0016. Agenda Item No. 8 is listed under Consent Calendar. 9. 19-0721 Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $1,663.77 offset by the Third Council District one-time District Priority Funds transferred from the General Fund group in the Special Events Department to provide a contribution to the Friends of Belmont Shore who will be holding a community concert; and Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Special Events Department by $1,663.77 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
