Enactment No: RES-20-0020 12. 20-0097 Recommendation to request City Attorney to prepare an ordinance amending Chapter 2.78 of the Long Beach Municipal Code governing the sale of unclaimed personal property recovered from towed vehicles. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 13. 20-0098 Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing City Manager, or designee, to execute a contract with Trapeze Software Group, Inc., of Wayne, Pennsylvania, for the purchase of software, hardware, and continued support of the M-5 Fleet Management database, in an annual amount of $175,000, with a 10 percent contingency of $17,500, for a total annual amount not to exceed $192,500, for a period of two years, with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods, at the discretion of the City Manager; and, authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter into the contract, including any necessary amendments. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. RES-20-0021 on the Consent Calendar. OCEAN BOULEVARD CIVIC CHAMBERS, 5:00 PM Enactment No: RES-20-0021 14. 20-0099 Recommendation to adopt Specifications No. RFP HE19-131 and award a contract to Shree Ganesh, Inc., of Long Beach, CA, for providing temporary lodging services for human and social services programs in the Department of Health and Human Services, in an amount not to exceed $350,000, for a period of one year, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods, at the discretion of the City Manager; and Authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter into the contract, including any necessary amendments. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 15. 20-0100 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute a Master Agreement, and any subsequent amendments, with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH), to provide community engagement and related services for a term effective upon the date of execution and continuing through eight years, with an option to extend the agreement for two additional one-year terms, at the discretion of the LACDPH. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 16. 20-0101 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter into a contract, including any necessary amendments or subcontracts, with the California Department of Public Health, in an annual amount of $186,501 for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2024, for a total contract amount not to exceed $932,505, to receive and expend assistance funds to develop and implement a public education and outreach program to raise Hepatitis C prevention and control activities; and Increase appropriation in the Health Fund Group in the Health and Human Services Department by $932,505, offset by grant revenue. OCEAN BOULEVARD CIVIC CHAMBERS, 5:00 PM (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 17. 20-0102 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter into a contract, including any necessary amendments or subcontracts, with the California Department of Public Health, in an annual amount of $169,605 for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2024, for a total contract amount not to exceed $848,025, to receive and expend assistance funds for Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Prevention and Control Activities, with the option to extend the agreement for two additional one-year periods, at the discretion of the City Manager; and Increase appropriation in the Health Fund Group in the Health and Human Services Department by $848,025, offset by grant revenue. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 18. 20-0103 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to issue and administer a new lease with Adventures to Dreams Enrichment, Inc., a nonprofit public benefit corporation, for the use of approximately 0.23-acres of City-owned land within the Drake Chavez Greenbelt to develop, operate, maintain and provide future improvements as a youth and family educational garden and farm produce stand, for a period of five years, from March 1, 2020 through February 28, 2025, with the option to renew for two, two-year periods, at the discretion of the City Manager.
