OCEAN BLVD, 5:00 PM Alan Burks, Chair Tasha Hunter, Commissioner Julianna Roosevelt, Vice Chair Kathleen Irvine, Commissioner Jan Robert van Dijs, Commissioner Dr. Lourdes Ramos, Commissioner Craig Smith, Commissioner FINISHED AGENDA AND MINUTES CALL TO ORDER Chair Burks called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. ROLL CALL Also present: Christopher Koontz, Planning Bureau Manager; Alejandro Plascencia, Historic Planner; Gabriel Barreras, Planner; Gina Casillas, Planner; Vanetta Baisley-Cuttliff, Clerk Typist. Commissioners Jan Robert van Dijs, Tasha Hunter, Craig Smith, Julianna Present: Roosevelt and Alan Burks Commissioners Kathleen Irvine and Lourdes Ramos Absent: FLAG SALUTE Commission Smith led the flag salute. MINUTES 19-004CH Recommendation to receive and file the Cultural Heritage Commission minutes from January 14, 2019. A motion was made by Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Hunter, to received and filed. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Members of the public are invited to address the Board on items of interest to the public within the Agency Board jurisdiction. Each speaker will be limited to two minutes unless that time is extended by the Chair. Chair Burks spoke . Christopher Koontz, Planning Bureau Manager spoke. 19-005CH Recommendation to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness for the demolition and rebuild of a detached 332 square-foot single-car garage, due to disrepair and structural safety issues. The rebuilt garage will have the same size and location as the original structure and raised in height from 9-feet 4-inches to 11-feet 6-inches. The structure is located at 1634 Grand Avenue, within the Wilton Street Historic District and the Two-family Residential Standard Lot (R-2-N) zoning district. (District 4) Christopher Koontz, Planning Bureau Manager recused himself from this item. Chair Burks spoke.
