Chair Jeffrey Johnson presiding. Committee Member Wilson joins the meeting at 3:35 pm. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 18-006HS Recommendation to approve the minutes for the Homeless Services Advisory Committee meeting held on May 2, 2018 A motion was made by Member Howat, seconded by Member Finch, to approve recommendation. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Joanna Archangel, with Long Beach Forward, introduced herself. Jane Gould, Reverend at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, introduced herself and stated that she was present to learn about how to better collaborate to address homeless impacts in the community. Anabell Chavez, Digital Communications Specialist with the City Manager’s office, introduced herself. 4. NEW BUSINESS Progress Report on Everyone Home Long Beach Initiative from Anabell Chavez, City Managers Office Shannon Parker, Homeless Services Officer, introduced Anabell Chavez who provided an overview on the social media currently being done as part of the Everyone Home Long Beach Campaign. Discussion ensued among the committee members. Committee Member Graeber joins the meeting at 3:39 pm Federal Emergency Solutions Grant Elsa Ramos, Special Projects Coordinator, informed committee members that an Ad Hoc of three committee members are needed for review of the Federal Emergency Solutions Grant Request for Proposals (RFP) review. The RFP is to be released on Monday, June 11, 2018. The following committee members volunteered: Kripp, Howat, Johnson with Finch as an alternate. 5.
