APPROVAL OF MINUTES 18-017HS Recommendation to approve the minutes of the meeting on November 7, 2018 Committee Member Wilson moved to appove the minutes as submitted, seconded by Committee Member Redfield. Member Johnson provided last year experience to the member of HSAC. Discussion ensued among the committee members regarding the items above. Chair Jeffrey Johnson volunteered to join the ad hoc. The remaining two members will be confirmed by email. January 2, 2019 HSAC Meeting Quorum Teresa Chandler, Manager, Bureau of Human Services, introduced the item and asked the committee members if the meeting in January shall convene or go dark. Discussion ensued among the committee members regarding the items above. Chair Jeffrey Johnson moved to adjourn the January 2, 2019 meeting. The vote passed unanimously. 5. HOMELESS SERVICES STAFF REPORT Teresa Chandler, Manager, Bureau of Human Services, David Thompson, Homeless Impacts Coordinator, and Candace Facemyer, Resource Liaison provided an overview on the following items: • Coffee in the Park • Everyone Home Long Beach • Winter Shelter • Homeless Emergency Assistance Program (HEAP) • Long Beach Community Foundation (LBCF) Community Round Table Events • Executive Assistants Tour of the Multi-Service Center • Homeless Count-Save the Date January 24, 2019 • Pilot Program • Homeless Court Discussion ensued among the committee members regarding the items above. 6.
