A motion was made by Commissioner Austin, seconded by Commissioner Uranga, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Gonzalez, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Andrews, Lowenthal and Tanzer Absent: 1 - Price 2. 15-0067 Recommendation to receive and file the Notice of Adjournment for the January 13, 2015 Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach, California. A motion was made by Commissioner Austin, seconded by Commissioner Richardson, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Gonzalez, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Andrews, Lowenthal and Tanzer Absent: 1 - Price 3. 15-0068 Recommendation to receive and file the Housing Authority Financial and Operational Performance Report for October 2014. (Citywide) Darnisa Tyler, Deputy Executive Director, presented the staff report. A motion was made by Commissioner Richardson, seconded by Commissioner Austin, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Gonzalez, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Andrews, Lowenthal and Tanzer Absent: 1 - Price 4. 15-0069 Recommendation to authorize the execution of all documents necessary for the Second Amendment to Lease No. 26422 between Abbass and Shoreh Tousi, as individuals, and the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach for office space at 521 East Page 2 of 5 CITY OF LONG BEACH TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2015 HOUSING AUTHORITY OF 333 W. OCEAN BOULEVARD THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, COUNCIL CHAMBER, 4:30 PM CALIFORNIA MINUTES Fourth Street, for continued occupancy by the Housing Authority. (Citywide) Darnisa Tyler, Deputy Executive Director, presented the staff report. A motion was made by Commissioner Uranga, seconded by Commissioner Richardson, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Gonzalez, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Vacant, Andrews, Lowenthal and Tanzer Absent: 1 - Price 5. 15-0070 Recommendation to authorize the execution of all documents necessary for the Second Amendment to Lease No. 27059 between East Village Partners, LLC, and the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach for 35 parking spaces located at 434 East Fourth Street, for continued occupancy by the Housing Authority. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Gonzalez, seconded by Commissioner Uranga, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Gonzalez, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Andrews, Lowenthal and Tanzer Absent: 1 - Price 6. 15-0071 Recommendation to authorize the execution of all documents necessary for the Third Amendment to Lease No. 26572 between Craig A. MacPherson and Stuart S. MacPherson, as individuals, and the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach for 12 parking spaces located at 523 East Fourth Street, for continued occupancy by the Housing Authority. (Citywide) A motion was made by Vice Chair Andrews, seconded by Commissioner Uranga, to approve recommendation. OCEAN BOULEVARD THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, COUNCIL CHAMBER, 4:30 PM CALIFORNIA MINUTES Yes: 8 - Gonzalez, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Andrews, Lowenthal and Tanzer Absent: 1 - Price 7. 15-0072 Recommendation to authorize Executive Director, or designee, to negotiate and execute an agreement with American Gold Star Manor, under the project based component of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Rental Assistance Demonstration Program, Section 3.7.2 of HUD Public and Indian Housing (PIH) Notice 2012-32.
