1. 15-0142 Recommendation to approve the minutes for the Housing Authority
of the City of Long Beach, California Special Meeting held Tuesday,
January 20, 2015.

A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by
Commissioner Richardson, to approve recommendation. The
motion carried by the following vote:
Yes: 7 - Price, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Lowenthal and
Tanzer
Absent: 2 - Gonzalez and Andrews
2. 15-0143 Recommendation to receive and file the Notice of Adjournment for
the February 10, 2015 Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of
the City of Long Beach, California.
A motion was made by Commissioner Richardson, seconded by
Commissioner Price, to approve recommendation. The motion
carried by the following vote:
Yes: 7 - Price, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Lowenthal and
Tanzer
Absent: 2 - Gonzalez and Andrews
3. 15-0144 Recommendation to authorize the Executive Director, or designee,
to set aside 75 HUD sponsored Veterans Affairs Supportive
Housing (VASH) Project-Based Vouchers (PBV) for homeless
veterans to be housed at Anchor Place Development located within
Century Villages at Cabrillo; and authorize the Executive Director,
or designee, to negotiate and execute an agreement to enter into a
Housing Assistance Payment contract for VASH PBV assistance in
accordance with Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
guidelines for qualified applicants. (Citywide)
Darnisa Tyler, Deputy Executive Director, presented the staff report.
Brian D'Andrea, President, Century Villages at Cabrillo, provided a
PowerPoint presentation; and distributed a brochure.
Councilmember Uranga spoke.
A motion was made by Commissioner Richardson, seconded by
Commissioner Mungo, to approve recommendation. The motion
carried by the following vote:
