REGULAR AGENDA (4:54 PM) 1. 15-0629 Recommendation to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach, California Regular Meeting held Tuesday, June 9, 2015. A motion was made by Commissioner Richardson, seconded by Commissioner Mungo, to approve recommendation. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Mungo, seconded by Commissioner Uranga, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 6 - Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Andrews and Tanzer Absent: 4 - Gonzalez, Price, Supernaw and Lowenthal 3. 15-0631 Recommendation to authorize Executive Director, or designee, to negotiate and execute a contract agreement with American Gold Star Manor (Phase II), under the project-based component of the HUD notice 2015-07, funding availability for tenant protection vouchers for certain at-risk households in low-vacancy areas. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Austin, seconded by Commissioner Richardson, to approve recommendation. OCEAN BOULEVARD THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, COUNCIL CHAMBER, 4:30 PM CALIFORNIA MINUTES 4. 15-0632 Recommendation to conduct a public hearing to review the proposed revision of the Five-Year Housing Plan (2016-2020) and the Annual Plan (2016-2017), receive supporting documentation into the record, conclude the hearing, adopt resolution to certify the revised Five-Year Housing Plan and the Annual Plan, and authorize the Deputy Executive Director to transmit them to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). (Citywide) Darnisa Tyler, Deputy Executive Director, presented the staff report. Councilman Austin spoke. Darnisa Tyler, Deputy Executive Director, spoke. A dialogue ensued between Councilman Austin and Darnisa Tyler, Deputy Executive Director. A motion was made by Commissioner Richardson, seconded by Commissioner Gonzalez, to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. H.A. 03-15. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Gonzalez, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Andrews, Lowenthal and Tanzer Absent: 1 - Price NEW BUSINESS (5:04 PM) There was no new business.
