1. 21-0111 Recommendation to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority of
the City of Long Beach, California Special Meeting held Tuesday,

A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by
Commissioner Uranga, to approve recommendation. The
motion carried by the following vote:
Yes: 8 - Allen, Supernaw, Mungo, Austin, Richardson, Tanzer, Saro
and Zendejas
Absent: 3 - Price, Uranga and Hudson
2. 21-0112 Recommendation to receive and file the Housing Authority Financial
and Operational Performance Reports for November 2020. (Citywide)
A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by
Richardson, to approve recommendation. The motion carried
by the following vote:
Yes: 10 - Allen, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin,
Richardson, Tanzer, Saro and Zendejas
Absent: 1 - Hudson
3. 21-0113 Recommendation to adopt Specifications No. RFP HE20-046 and
award a contract to Emphasys Software, of Petoskey, MI, for
implementation of a business management system, in an amount not to
exceed $1,100,000 for a period of five years, with the option to renew
for three additional one-year periods, at the discretion of the Housing
Authority Director; and authorize Housing Authority, or designee, to
execute all documents necessary to enter into the contract, including
any necessary amendments. (Citywide)
A motion was made by Commissioner Austin, seconded by
Vice Chair Saro, to approve recommendation. The motion
carried by the following vote:
Yes: 8 - Allen, Supernaw, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Tanzer, Saro
and Zendejas

4. 21-0114 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all
documents necessary for a Second Amendment to the Lease between
Dignity Health, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, and the
Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach, for leasing of
approximately 395 rentable square feet of office space. (Citywide)
A motion was made by Commissioner Supernaw, seconded
by Commissioner Uranga, to approve recommendation. The
motion carried by the following vote:
Yes: 10 - Allen, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin,
Richardson, Tanzer, Saro and Zendejas
Absent: 1 - Hudson
