ROLL CALL Elvira Hallinan, Manager, Marine Bureau, took roll call and confirmed a quorum. Vice Chairman Turpin spoke. A motion was made by Commissioner Marino, seconded by Commissioner Mayes, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 6 - Camille Daniels, Colin Kelly, Elizabeth Lambe, Theresa Marino, Tom Mayes and Jo Murray Abstain: 1 - Mark Turpin Absent: 1 - David Thornburg NEW BUSINESS 2. 19-036MA Recommendation to receive and file the oral presentation on the Alamitos Bay Parking and Circulation Master Plan Community Update presented by Economic Development and Public Works. Councilwoman Price spoke to the public. Sergio Rameriz reviewed topics discussed from the meeting held on May 23, 2019, and introduced Barret Bradley, from CenterCal Properties. Barret Bradley, CenterCal Properties gave an update on the 2nd & PCH project and parking management plan. The presentation included: · Site aerial review · 2nd & PCH signed leases · Parking facts · Overview of CenterCal’s parking management strategy · Site Ingress/Egress · North, mid, and south deck parking plans · Wayfinding signage Chris Scheppmann, APS, Access Professional Systems gave an update on 2nd & PCH parking technology. The presentation included: · 2nd & PCH parking challenge and solution · Project scope · Video of technology · Results review Rio Lupisan, Development Manager, Laz Parking gave an update on Laz parking. Elvira Hallinan, Manager, Marine Bureau gave the following update: · Farmers market - The market will consolidate and relocate closer to the shipyard. A new permanent location is being reviewed. · Marina Drive Complete Streets is slated to open October 1, 2019. · Parking stalls were reviewed in Basin 3. · A message from Councilwoman Price was read regarding Studebaker Road and Shopkeeper Road. · Marine Beach Maintenance is restriping Basins 1, 2 and 3 to be more visible. Signage is being changed. A vote was not taken.
