CALL TO ORDER
At 2:30 p.m., Chairman Thornburg called the meeting to order at the Long Beach Yacht Club.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. 20-001MA Recommendation to approve the Marine Advisory Commission minutes
for the meeting held on Thursday, November 14, 2019.
A motion was made by Commissioner Mayes, seconded by
Commissioner Daniels, to approve recommendation. The
motion carried by the following vote:
Yes: 5 - Camille Daniels, Colin Kelly, Theresa Marino, Tom Mayes
and David Thornburg
Absent: 3 - Elizabeth Lambe, Jo Murray and Mark Turpin
OLD BUSINESS
2. 20-003MA Recommendation to receive and file an update on the status of the
Alamitos Bay Parking & Circulation Master Plan.
Sergio Ramirez presented an update on the Alamitos Bay Parking &
Circulation plan, and the Boat owner's community meeting scheduled on
January 16, 2020 at Will Rogers Middle School.

MANAGER'S REPORT TO COMMISSION
3. 20-002MA Recommendation to receive and file the Manager's monthly oral
updates.
Elvira Hallinan, Manager, Marine Bureau, provided an update on the Marina
Revenue Bonds, Series 2015.
Beach Maintenance
Todd Leland, Superintendent, Marine Operations reviewed the following
topics:
· Completed annual tree trimming.
· New side loader.
· Marauder trash skimmer.
· Pier Point landing roof.

Todd Leland, Superintendent, Marine Operations gave the following brief
update:
· Staff striped boat owners parking spots with restricted lines in Basin
3 parking lot.
· Replaced locks/keys in Basin 1 - 8 with new high-security locks/keys
· Repaired broken sewer line at D-2 boat owner’s restroom.
· Repaired broken sewer pipe at Dock 10.
