Suggested Action: Approve recommendation COMMISSION ACTION ITEMS 2. 14-042PR Recommendation to approve the fee waiver requests outlined in Attachment "A" in accordance with the Fee Waiver Policy. Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 3. 14-043PR Support additional improvements to the baseball field, with soccer overlay, at Houghton Park, and recommend to the City Council the approval of a new Joint Use Agreement between Long Beach Unified School District and the City of Long Beach for the improved baseball field at Houghton Park for 50 years and the improved soccer field at Houghton Park for seven years. STUDEBAKER ROAD, 9:00 AM 4. 14-044PR Authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to execute all documents necessary to issue a new Right of Entry Permit to the Long Beach Sister Cities Association for the assumption of maintenance of an existing Temporary Mural on the exterior of the Recreation Park Community Center, for a period of three years, with two, three-year renewal options at the discretion of the Director. (District 3) Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 5. 14-048PR Authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to execute all documents necessary to issue permits for the operation of two picnic service concessions with The Creative Events Group, LLC, and The Tulsa Rib Company, for a one year term, with annual options for renewal, at the discretion of the Director. Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 6. 14-049PR Authorize the Director, or his or her management designee, to execute the Personal Service Agreements for Homeland Cultural Center and amend Attachment “A” of the agreements as needed. Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 7. 14-050PR Approve the placement of, and the fundraising for, the Louise Art Memorial, a permanent mosaic sculpture in the East Village Arts Park. (District 2) Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 8. 14-045PR Authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to execute a Non-exclusive Revocable Permit with Long Beach Bow Hunters, Inc., for the use of the eastern portion of the Olympic Range and the Indoor/Flint Range at the El Dorado Archery Range two days per week, for the promotion of the sport of Field Archery and the conduct of competitions, for a term of three years, with three two-year renewal options at the discretion of the Director. (District 5) Suggested Action: Approve recommendation. 10. 14-047PR Authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to execute a Non-exclusive Revocable Permit with United Junior Olympic Archery Development and Santa Fe Trail Archers, for the use of the eastern portion of the Olympic Range at the El Dorado Archery Range up to two days per week, for the conduct of instruction and safety classes in archery, for a term of three years, with the option for three, two-year renewal options at the discretion of the Director.
