Neighborhood Committee for the portion of the Pacific Electric
Right-of-Way Bike Path located between Orange Avenue and Walnut
Avenue. (District 6)
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
5. 14-071PR Recommend the name National Association for the Advancement of
Colored People (NAACP) Freedom Park to the Housing and
Neighborhood Committee for the portion of the Pacific Electric
Right-of-Way Bike Path located between Martin Luther King, Jr.
Avenue and Lemon Avenue. (District 6)
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
OLD BUSINESS
6. 14-072PR Authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to execute a
Non-exclusive Revocable Permit with El Dorado Archers, Inc., for the
use of the eastern portion of the Olympic Range and the Indoor/Flint
Range at the El Dorado Archery Range up to two days per week, for
the conduct of instruction and safety classes in archery, for a term of
three years, with three, two-year renewal options at the discretion of
the Director. (District 5)
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
7. 14-073PR Authorize the Director of Parks, Recreation and Marine to execute a
Non-exclusive Revocable Permit with Long Beach Bow Hunters, Inc.,
for the use of the eastern portion of the Olympic Range and the
Indoor/Flint Range at the El Dorado Archery Range two days per
week, for the promotion of the sport of Field Archery and the conduct
of competitions, for a term of three years, with three two-year renewal
options at the discretion of the Director. (District 5)
