MAINTENANCE & INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE Ron Antonette - Chair Commissioner Antonette stated the committee met and reviewed the Parkland Maintenance Pest Control report. MARKETING & RECREATION COMMITTEE David Zanatta - Chair Commissioner Zanatta stated the committee is scheduled to meet before the October 20th Commission meeting. PARKS USAGE COMMITTEE Stella Ursua - Chair Commissioner Ursua stated the committee is scheduled to meet in November. OLD BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS PUBLIC COMMENT: IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO ADJOURNMENT Opportunity is given to those members of the public who would like to address the Parks and Recreation Commission on non-agenda items. Each speaker is limited to three minutes unless extended by the Parks and Recreation Commission. The Brown Act prohibits the Commission from responding to public comments on non-agenda items. Hurley Owens spoke regarding tree removals and precautionary measures being taken on trees that have branches in danger of falling. Stephen Scott spoke regarding FY-17 Budget adoption. Commissioner Comments: Commissioner Sievers spoke regarding the condition of the turf in the Traffic Circle. Vice President Heggeness thanked Kelly Parkins for her presentation. President Goldberg also thanked Kelly Parkins for her presentation. NEXT MEETING The next Parks and Recreation Commission meeting will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the El Dorado Park West Community Center, Senior Center Library located at 2800 N.
