Chair Goldberg Introduced Gerardo Mouet as the new Director of Parks, Recreation Marine. Chair Goldberg spoke. Director Mouet spoke. COMMUNITY CNTR COMMISSION MINUTES 2800 N. STUDEBAKER ROAD LONG BEACH, CA 90815, 9:00 AM Jorge Acevado introduced Oscar Alaniz, as the May Employee of the Month. Oscar displayed great leadership skills when filling the facility supervisor role while his supervisor was out on medical leave. Oscar went above and beyond to keep the team enthusiastic and on task to ensure that all facility maintenance needs were met while continuing to perform his role as project coordinator. Oscar showed outstanding skills in guiding the team towards achieving the department's goals and making the right decisions at the right point of time. He possesses the knowledge and skills to understand the relevant capabilities of the team and then scheduling tasks and delegating to the right people to get tasks completed within deadlines.
