LOOMIS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE UPDATE
All items on the agenda will be open for public comment before final action is taken. Speakers are
requested to restrict comments to the item as it appears on the agenda and stay within a three minute
time limit. The Mayor has the discretion of limiting the total discussion time for an item.
Written Material Introduced Into the Record: Citizens wishing to introduce written material into the record at
the public hearing on any item are requested to provide a copy of the written material to the Town Clerk .
PUBLIC COMMENT: This time is reserved for those in the audience who wish to address the Town Council
on subjects that are not on the Agenda. The audience should be aware that the Council may not discuss
details or vote on non-agenda items. Your concerns may be referred to staff or placed on the next available
agenda.

8. Town of Loomis MOU With Friends of the Loomis Library
Consider Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Friends of the Loomis Library
pertaining to the management of the Loomis Community Learning Center and potential
Municipal Library
Recommended action: Hear staff presentation, open public hearing and adopt Resolution for
Memorandum of Understanding with the Friends of the Loomis Library for operation of the
Loomis Library Building

9. Placer County Economic Development Board (PCEDB) Presentation
PCEDB Chair, Dave Butler (Rocklin Councilmember), has requested to make a presentation of
the PCEDB Strategic Framework with objectives for 2016-17.
Recommended action: Hear presentation, no action is requested at this time.

10. The Village At Loomis Project Review of The Processing Sequence
Town staff felt it valuable to present to both the Planning Commission and Town Council a
better understanding of the next steps, sequence and actions regarding processing the Village
at Loomis project. As you may be aware, the Village at Loomis Final EIR is currently under
preparation. The Final EIR will consist of the Draft EIR and the comments received during
circulation and public hearings and the responses to those comments received. The Final EIR
may also contain modifications to the Draft EIR which result from information received during
the comment period. In short order, the project will progress into the project review process,
which will involve hearings before the Planning Commission for their review and
recommendations to the Town Council. Town Council will take final action to approve, modify or
deny the various entitlements requested for the Village at Loomis project.

action is requested at this time.
