Rondeau, MAA Deputy Chief Assessor Amy Lombardo THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS Assessor LOWELL MA September 19, 2024 A meeting of the Board of Assessors took place on September 11, 2024 at 9:00 AM in Room 36 at Lowell City Hall: In attendance: Chief Assessor; E. Brideau, Deputy Chief Assessor; R. Rondeau, Amy Lombardo; Assessor, Christ Hughes; Assessor E. Brideau called to order the meeting at 9:00 AM 1. Review of minutes from August 20, 2024 meeting – R. Rondeau made a motion to approve the minutes, A. Lombardo 2nd 2. Applications for MOTOR VEHICLE EXCISE TAX ABATEMENTS (supporting documentation attached to each application)  Motor Vehicle Excise Abatements o Week of August 19 to August 23 – Approved by signatures o Week of August 26 to August 30 – Approved by signatures 3. Statutory Exemptions – Clause 17E: 4 applications, Clause 22: 7 applications, Clause 22B: 1 application, Clause 22E: 4 applications, Clause 37A: 1 application, Clause 41C: 16 applications, 2 Senior Volunteer applications, and 1 Veteran Volunteer application – E. Brideau made a motion to approve these applications, A. Lombardo 2nd  1 Clause 17E application and 2 Clause 41C applications were denied by signatures 4. FY25 Interim – Residential values are complete and commercial values will be completed this week then begin the State reporting 5. Excise Commitments and Warrants – Approved by signatures 6.
