Barbecue and get together. Cooking only with Charcoal and will notify the Fire Department. Motion was made by Tom Caunter and Second by Peter Finnegan to approve the dates and times with a $75 fee. Vote: 3-0 Approved Item 2 Angela Benitez – Baby Shower Shedd Park Pavillion Saturday September 21, 2019 1pm-5pm Non-Resident Adult Fee $25.00/2hr block =$100.00 x 2 blocks =$200 Custodial Fee $120/4hr block=$120.00 Total fee = Permit Fee $200 + Custodial Fee $120= $320 TOTAL Request was denied for Failure to attend the meeting. Item 3 Magnolia Babila – Birthday Party Muldoon Park Gazebo Saturday September 21, 2019 2pm-6pm Resident Adult Fee $25.00/2hr block =$25.00 x 2 blocks =$50 Request was denied for Failure to attend the meeting. Item 4 Thiru Njuguna – Get together/group picnic Knott Park Picnic Area Saturday September 21, 2019 3pm-7pm Resident Adult Fee $25.00/2hr block =$25.00 x 2 blocks =$50 Request was denied for Failure to attend the meeting. Item 5 Nick Dunn – Scavenger Hunt Shedd Park Pavillion Sunday September 29, 2019 2pm-6pm Resident Adult Fee $25.00/2hr block =$25.00 x 2 blocks =$50 Custodial Fee $120/4hr block=$120.00 Total fee = Permit Fee $50 + Custodial Fee $120= $170 TOTAL Request was represented by Mark MacDonald. Wants a 1 hour get together, 2 hours off site scavenger hunt throughout the City. Then return to see the results. He will forward the list of items to the Board at the request of John Linnehan. Motion was made by Peter Finnegan and Second by Tom Caunter to approve the dates and items for a $50 permit fee and waiving the Custodial fee. Vote: 3-0 Approved Item 6 Stacey Nelson – Car Wash Fundraiser for Lowell High Cheerleading Cawley Memorial Stadium Complex-Alumni Field Saturday October 5, 2019 12pm-4pm Custodial Fee $120/4hr block=$120.00 They will be piggy backing off of the 8am car wash and providing their own supplies. Motion was made by Peter Finnegan and Second by Tom Caunter to approve the dates and items with no fee. Vote: 3-0 Approved Item 7 Jason McCrevan- Move-A-Thon Callery Park Conroy Softball Field Callery Park John J Barrett Field Callery Park Zabbo Little League Field Callery Park Tennis Court I Callery Park Tennis Court II Callery Park Tennis Court III Wednesday October 9, 2019 10am-12pm No Conflicts. No fee for Resident Youth. Event has been ongoing for years and he wants to continue the same as previous years. Half day of school so only a two hour event. Motion was made by Peter Finnegan and Second by Tom Caunter to approve the dates and times with no fee. Vote: 3-0 Approved Board of Parks Business Tom Caunter asked about the priority status of Gil Vigeant at McPherson Park. John informed the Board he visited the Farmers Market to see the ongoing parking violations and discuss changes they need to make. Meeting Adjourned at 6:45pm
