They canceled (3) dates from their permit but would like to put those hours towards extending their other permit dates. The dates they have given back are as follows: Sunday, April 16, 2023 10am-6pm Saturday, April 22, 2023 10am-6pm Sunday, April 23, 2023 10am-6pm They are rescheduling a total of 24 canceled hours (8 hours per date X 3 dates = 24 hours) B) Requesting to extend 36 dates by 2 hours per date (= 72 additional hours) Resident Adult Fee $25.00/2hr block = $25 per date X 36 dates = $900 (What the fee would be) 72 additional hours – 24 canceled hours or “12 dates” = 48 additional hours or “24 dates” (The difference between the hours requested vs rescheduled) Resident Adult Fee $25.00/2hr block = $25 per date X 12 dates = $300 (Fee for Rescheduled Hrs) Resident Adult Fee $25.00/2hr block = $25 per date X 24 dates = $600 (Fee after the difference) Total additional fee = $600 C) Requesting to add weekends in October to current cricket permit Hovey Field – Field I October 01 – October 29, 2023 (Saturdays & Sundays) 9am-5pm Resident Adult Fee $25.00/2hr block X 4 = $100 per date X 9 dates = $900 Total Fee for both B + C = $1,500 Motion was made by Keith Rudy to approve the request for a fee of $1,500. Item 19 – Marvin Winston – Requesting account credit Marvin’s requesting account credit towards use of a future permit. He paid $340 for April 15 and April 22 at Shedd Park Pavilion. They did not need the rain date of April 22, so a custodian was not needed that day, which would result in a credit of $120. They have submitted for another date in September and would like to put the credit towards that date. Motion was made by Keith Rudy to approve issuing account credit for $120. Superintendent of Parks Business Item 1 – Johnson Prak account credit Due to renovations being done at Hovey Field for the installation of a new cricket pitch, this group’s permit was affected. They had to alter their flag football clinic due to having to work around the cricket pitch being renovated. Shannon is requesting to give this group account credit for $100 towards use of a future permit.
