Tara paid $150.00 total for both permits and canceled both due to weather with enough notice. During this event, EA families will have the opportunity to learn about resources within the Greater Lowell while enjoying a BBQ-style meal provided at no cost to them. They requested to switch the date due to Folk Fest. They will have catering provided through the youth department at CTI. Motion was made by Kah Ndi to approve the request at no fee. Tarak was previously approved for a permit for June 11, 2023 from 3-7p at Shedd Pavilion, at the May Board of Parks meeting. Tarak canceled prior to the event date and is requesting to waive the outstanding balance of $170.00 from his account, due to no longer needing the permit.
