Roll Call: Beverly Gonsalves, Lillian Hartman (Director), Andrew Hostetler (Chair), Vincenzo Milinazzo. Guest: John King; Absent: Joyce Dastou, Mary Donnelly, John Lawlor, Anne Marie Porter II. Pledge of Allegiance III. Approval of Minutes: In the absence of a quorum, we were unable to approve the minutes IV. Chairperson’s Report: Andy reported on a recent focus group discussion at the Saab Residence at D’Youville Senior Living for the Age-Friendly Lowell (AFL) project. The focus group focused on older adults’ understandings and experiences of empowerment. Eight residents participated, and the session was recorded and transcribed for the AFL project. There was difficulty using Zoom so this was in- person. Generally this group didn’t relate to the term empowerment much. We are organizing a meeting for April 26 as an Age Friendly Action Group info session. V. Director’s Report: Lil reported on the status of building projects, staff assisting with pandemic-related duties. Outdoor fitness classes resumed in April, there will be a televised painting class. Vaccine hotline is now staffed by contractors, can be reached at 978-228-3019. VI. Committee Reports a. Outreach: No report, no meetings scheduled. b.
