Attending: Erin Duffey (Administrator); Rona Gofstein; Stephanie Call; Beth Noel; Kshitij Karke (KK);
The meeting was called to order at 6:32 PM.
1. Financials
- Grants Distribution: $135,000 has been distributed to recipients.
2. Council-Initiated Program
- Budget Adjustments: Funds are being reallocated from the previously allocated amounts for council-initiated
programs.
- Peace Girl Grant: Discussion included a summary of the grant decision for the "Peace Girl" project.
3. Grant Applicant Feedback
- Applicant Response: Received one response from an applicant regarding their denial.
- Guielmi's Forward: Guielmi forwarded concerns from a denied applicant.
- MCC Appeal: The Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) has denied the appeal of the denied applicant.
4. Event Planning
- DTL for Winterfest: Discussion about planning and logistics for Winterfest at Downtown Lowell (DTL).
