This revision reduces the custodial cleaning reimbursement to correspond to a documented worksheet itemizing the costs in detail. This revision replaces the monies allocated for special education tuition charges with computer hardware purchases. The special education tuition invoices will first be paid from the circuit breaker revolving fund since the Circuit Breaker carryover balance is limited to one year. Sheehy, Assistant Director of Human Resources. The report informed the Committee about the process and the deadlines. The report also informed the Committee about the Principal Evaluations that the Superintendent has done. The report was accepted as a report of progress. Principal Cheryl Cunningham and her team spoke about the successful curriculum initiatives that take place daily at the Washington School which helps them in continuing their Level 1 status. Mr. Martin also addressed the strong recommendation from the Restorative Justice report to consider changing the titles of Headmaster to Head of School and Housemaster to House Deans. Ms. Durkin informed them that online waitlist will share the most up to date waitlist information with the public, while keeping all personal information completely private. Ms. Durkin also told the Committee that the published waitlist will be online on Thursday, June 16, 2016 pending their approval. The Committee approved the waitlist. The motion passed. 23. 2016 / 263 - Planning for Student Growth Report Superintendent Khelfaoui asked Jeannine Durkin, Assistant Superintendent for Student Support Services to speak to the Committee about the Planning for Student Population Growth report that she had prepared for him. Ms. Durkin informed the Committee that a Lowell Student Population Growth Task Force will be convened at the outset of the 2016-2017 school year. The Comprehensive Facilities Assessment that was compiled by OMR will serve as a framework for the Task Force as well as provide insight into the projected population growth numbers in the upcoming years. The counsel for collective bargaining for the Lowell Public Schools will review past practices and has requested extensive documentation from the Superintendent’s Administrative team in order to better analyze the situation.
