Town Council Workshop/Regular Meeting

TOWN OF LOXAHATCHEE GROVES TOWN COUNCIL COMMUNUNITY RESIDENT WORKSHOP MARCH 15, 2022 Meeting audio available in Town Clerk's Office CALL TO ORDER Mayor Shorr called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. PRESENTATION: Mayor Shorr stated that tonight's Community Resident Workshop would be a little different than the usually. He stated that we would be recognizing some of our past residents who have served for more than 10 years on either the Loxahatchee Groves Water Control District or Town Council. There were two awards presented to two residents who have served as our Municipal Precinct Clerk and Municipal Canvassing Board Member. There were Town Council Comments: Town Clerk Burch read comments that were given by Councilmember Maniglia into read. There were additional comments given by Councilmembers Herzog and Miles, Vice Mayor Danowski and Mayor Shorr. Mayor Shorr presented plaques and certificates to the following: Mr. John Ryan for his service as a member to the Loxahatchee Groves Water Control District from 2007-2016. Mr. David DeMarios for his service as a member of the Loxahatchee Groves Water Control District from 1997-2015 and Town of Loxahatchee Groves Town Council from 2017-2020. Mr. Ronald Jarriel recognition of his dedication and service as member ofthe Loxahatchee Groves Water Control District from 2000-2009 and Town of Loxahatchee Groves Town Council for 2009- 20 18. Ms. Lisa El-Ramey for her service as a member of the Town of Loxahatchee Groves Council from 2019-2021 and her service as Mayor for 2020-2021. Mr. William Ford, Esq. in appreci ation of his services as a Canvassing Board Member fo r the Town of Loxahatchee Groves Municipal Elections. Mrs. Sharyn Browning in appreciation of her services and dedication as Precinct Clerk for the Town of Loxahatchee Groves Municipal Elections from 1982-2022.
