LUCK GOLF COURSE COMMISSION MEETING Tuesday, September 10, 2024 @ 5:00pm Luck Golf Course 1520 So. Shore Dr. Luck, WI 54853 MINUTES a. Call to Order- Mike Broten (5:15pm), Bruce Anderson (5:05pm), Ron Steen, Jeff Anderson and Mike McMahon- all here b. Motion by J. Anderson/McMahon to approve the agenda, all in favor- aye, carried. c. Motion by J. Anderson/B. Anderson to approve Minutes from 8/6/2024, all in favor- aye, carried. d. Appearance by Visitors- John Misner- Thank you to the great Golf Course and Staff- Needs better communication- look into different avenues of communication Chuck Torrance (Butternut Bar and Grill)- sales up $4k- $13,187 for the 13% as of August 31st e. Commissioners Open Discussion- NA f. Motion by Broten/B. Anderson (J. Anderson abstains) to approve paying LT Construction Invoice payment in the amount of $21,471.56, all in favor- aye, carried. g. Motion by McMahon/B. Anderson to approve repairing hole #9 green in full, all in favor- aye, carried. h. Motion by Broten/Steen to approve taking trees down on #11 tee box for $1,000.00, all in favor- aye, carried. i. Motion by J. Anderson/Broten to approve the future cart barn site down below where the carts are currently store, all in favor- aye, carried. j. Motion by B. Anderson/Broten to table discussion on the Campground until further pricing options, all in favor- aye, carried. k. Clarification on Kevin’s Retirement Party- Discounted drinks from Country Club- Appetizers from Golf Course and Village ($100.00) Party- Saturday, September 28th from 3-6pm l. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to post Kevin’s Job once job description, pay, and title are decided, all in favor- aye, carried. m. Financial Update- As of August 31, 2024- Checking $163,797.55 3 Year Memberships $337,303.64 Donations $12,598.94 n. Discussion of the 2025 Budget- Budget presented and will go through it again o. Clubhouse Manager Report- Cart software p. Golf Course Maintenance Update- aeration started- Hartman start Thursday q. Motion by Broten/J. Anderson to approve the vouchers for August 2024, all in favor- aye, carried/. r. Set Next Meeting Date- Monday, October 7th @ 5pm s.
