Warrant #14032 (unpaid) in the amount of $22,595.02 and the visa
bill in the amount of $ 548.33 as presented, waiving the reading.

A. Mayor Gardner recommends the re-appointment of Dee Parran for City
Treasurer, City Clerk, and Executive Assistant with a term expiring
6/30/22
B. Mayor Gardner recommends the re-appointment of Jolene Upchurch for
Deputy Clerk, Deputy Treasurer and Executive Assistant with a term
expiring 6/30/22
C. Mayor Gardner recommends the re-appointment of Brett Ansel for City
Chief of Police, with a term expiring 6-30-2022

The City of Luna Pier operates under rules of parliamentary procedure, which states, “Citizens have the right to
attend the meetings and be permitted to address the body on matters that are relevant to business. Citizens must
observe all of the rules that are set. Members of the public attending the meetings of the governmental body DO
NOT have the right to interrupt or heckle. During public comment time, they have the right to ask to be heard by
requesting permission of the body through the Mayor. All questions, comments and remarks must ALWAYS be
addressed through the Mayor.” Public Comment time is just that—an opportunity for the public to comment. It is
NOT a time for a debate, exchange of ideas, or opportunity to harass board members, all of which will not be
permitted at the City of Luna Pier Council meetings.

Mayor Gardner to re-appoint Dee Parran to the position of City
Treasurer, City Clerk, and Executive Assistant with term expiring
6-30-2022 as presented.

Treasurer, and Executive Assistant with the term expiring 6-30-2022
A proposed motion to approve/deny the recommendation of
Mayor Gardner to re-appoint Jolene Upchurch to the position of
