The budget is balanced and lhe millage rate remained the same as the previous )'981'. Praised FD for formulattng a c:cmplex budget after it had incunad many manges. After the budget and millage rate 118 offldally agreed upon, on 9/5/13, there will be another meeting in order to adopt the budget by Ordinance. There haan't been mum public opinion either way as observed by City S1aff. V-M Lister: He doesn't think 1hat the lack of comments equalas to public apathy, he thinks that they see this as a solid budget CM: If the City wants to accomplish projects on an expedited schedule, then the Ctty Is most likely lookilg at a minage rate increase for 1he next Fiscal Year.
