THE CITY OF MADEIRA BEACH, FLORIDA PUBLIC NOTICE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AGENDA SETTING MEETING The Board of Commissioners of the City of Madeira Beach, Florida will meet at City Hall, located at 300 Municipal Drive, Madeira Beach, Florida to discuss the agenda items of City Business listed at the time indicated below. 4:55 PM JANUARY 15th, 2015 AUDITORIUM AGENDA SETTING- FOR BOC WORKSHOP -JANUARY 27, 2015 A. CALL TO ORDER-The meeting was called to order at 4:35 p.m. B. ROLL CALL MEMBERS PRESENT: Travis Palladeno, Mayor Nancy Hodges, Vice-Mayor Terry Lister, Commissioner District 1 Elaine Poe, Commissioner District 3 Pat Shontz, Commissioner District 4 STAFF PRESENT: Vince Tenaglia, Assistant City Manager/Finance Director Tom Trask, City Attorney Aimee Servedio, City Clerk Dave Marsicano, Public Works/Marina Director STAFF ABSENT: Shane B. Crawford, City Manager C. TOPICS: < BOC Recommendations for Workshop > If the BOC has no requested items., staff recommends canceling the January 2-rh., 2015 Workshop. ACM/FD: Explained that there were no pressing matters that staff had to bring to Workshop and that the CM was out due to surgery. If there were no specific requests from the BOC, the regularly scheduled January Workshop would be canceled. Mayor Palladeno: Suggested perhaps having an update on the Gulf Blvd. grant funds and how they are going to spend the money. The mayor also brought up City home posting signs. Commissioner Poe: Asked the CA if it was necessary to workshop the rental inspection ordinance again but he advised that it was not necessary. ACM/FD: Explained that staff would have enough time to put some prices together if Resolution 2014- 04 is approved at the next BOC meeting. He also has the first copy of the utility undergrounding binding BOC Agenda Setting Meeting - 01/15/2015 agreement that will eventually have to go in front of the Board as well, but needs to confirm with the City Manager which date he would like to discuss that.
