CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m. B. ROLL CALL MEMBER PRESENT: Travis Palladeno, Mayor Elaine Poe, Vice-Mayor Terry Lister, Commissioner District 1 Nancy Hodges, Commissioner District 2 MEMBERS ABSENT: Patricia Shontz, Commissioner District 4 STAFF PRESENT: Vincent Tenaglia, Assistant City Manager/Finance Director (ACM/FD) Thomas Trask, City Attorney (CA) Aimee Servedio, City Clerk (CC) STAFF ABSENT: Shane B. Crawford, City Manager (CM) Dave Marsicano, Public Works/Marina Director (PW/MD) C. TOPICS 1. DISCUSSION ON OUTSTANDING LIEN SETTLEMENTS Elaine Poe, Vice-Mayor and Shane B. Crawford, City Manager 2. DISCUSSION ON BOC POLICY HANDBOOK AND AGENDA POSTING LOCATIONS Travis Palladeno, Mayor and Nancy Hodges, Commissioner District 2 3. DISCUSSION ON FINANCE AND BUDGET POLICIES Vince Tenaglia, Assistant City Manager/Finance Director ACM/FD: The first two items on the agenda are items that were asked to be referred at the June 23 BOC Workshop for a later date. The third item is a continued presentation on Finance and Budget Policies and representative from PFM will be attending to discuss the policies with the Board. There are some additional items that need to be added to the Workshop Agenda with the Board's approval. The Mayor has asked at the Budget Presentation about raising the parking meters. The ACM/FD has done some research and put some numbers together for review. There are also some requests to amend the Fees and Collection Procedure Manual from the Building Department and Recreation - the breakdown of the requested changes will be presented to the Board. The last item is related to the Playground Equipment Grant award for $50,000 that the City just received. The ACM/FD would like to go over the updates and improvements to the Recreation Center that this grant will help achieve. 07/14/2015 BOC Agenda Setting Meeting 1 12 A motion to approve the agenda with the three additional items described by the ACM/FD was made by Commissioner Lister and seconded by Vice-Mayor Poe.
