A workshop agenda setting meeting of the City of Madeira Beach Board of Commissioners was
held at 5:45 p.m. on September 4, 2018 in the Patricia Shontz Commission Chambers at City Hall,
located at 300 Municipal Drive, Madeira Beach, Florida. Vice-Mayor Weinstein called the meeting
to order.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Maggi Black, Mayor
Deby Weinstein, Vice-Mayor/Commissioner District 1
Nancy Hodges, Commissioner District 2
Nancy Oakley, Commissioner District 3
John Douthirt, Commissioner District 4
MEMBERS ABSENT: None

1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Black called the meeting to order at 5:45 pm.

C. Enterprise Rental Agreement - Walt Pierce, Finance Director
D. Pocket Parks Maintenance Update -Dave Marsicano, Public Works/Marina Director
E. John's Pass Lighting Project Update-Dave Marsicano, Public Works/Marina
Director
F. Special Event Permitting Program Review - Jay Hatch, Recreation Director
Mayor Black asked that Agenda Item 11.A., City of Madeira Beach Patricia Shontz Day of Good
Deeds, be removed from the September 4, 2018 Regular Meeting agenda and be placed on the
September 25, 2018 Regular Workshop Meeting agenda to discuss to best way in going forward.
The City Manager said that the Board will need to take official action on that item when getting to
it on the September 4, 2018 Regular Meeting agenda to place it on the workshop meeting agenda.

Vice-Mayor Weinstein added to the September 25, 2UHS Regular Workshop Meeting agenda the
status of the Kiosk in John's Pass Village and a report on what the merchants at John's Pass Village
would like to see for the improvements to the Village. The City Manger said that is consistent with
the monies that have been tentatively appropriated in the FY 2019 Budget.

There was no confirmation of direction.
