City Council Meeting Monday, December 26, 2023 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Cody Eager. Those in attendance were Cody Eager, Mark Slater, Glen Christensen, Andy Gappa and Phyllis Schickling. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Glen Christensen to approve advertising for bids for Seal Well No. 4 and Construct Well No. 6. Bid date is set for January 25, 2024 at 2:00p.m. Voting in favor of said motion; Cody Eager-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes, Phyllis Schickling-Yes, Glen Christensen-Yes and Mark Slater - Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Glen Christensen and seconded by Mark Slater to approve bid received by Randy King of Prokore for the City of Madelia’s Building Inspector RFP. Two bids were received: Randy King, Prokore and Harry Jenness. This is a one year contract. Voting in favor of said motion; Cody Eager-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes, Phyllis Schickling-Yes, Glen Christensen-Yes and Mark Slater - Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Glen Christensen to approve Pay Request #5 for Meier Electric in the amount of $4,750.00.
