Minutes of June 9, 2022 MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC None present wishing to speak. REPORTS 2. Advise & Educate 1 01-24-22  Advise & Educate - goal met in May by increasing community engagement about Mental Health Awareness. 3. Communications Team building goal met - May 2022. 358 Facebook page likes currently as of July 7, 2022. Goal is 500 by December 2022. 4. FUNdraising Cook Book fundraiser - aiming for December 2022. Collaborative fundraiser plant sale/book sale slated for September 18, 2022. Possible ice cream social event planning still in the works. 5. Volunteers & Collaboration First Diverse Voices Book Club occurred on June 30, 2022. Most copies of the ten copies available of the book were checked out, and 4 people attended. We had a great discussion and are planning a monthly book club for the rest of the year. July title "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" by Taylor Jenkins Reid. UNFINISHED BUSINESS NEW BUSINESS 6. Newsletter Commissioner Q. Wright made a motion to table this topic until Commissioner Szymanski is able to attend and speak on the newsletter. Seconded by Commissioner Quackenbush.
