Copies of said notice were made available to members of the general public. 5) APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 2018 MINUTES (There are no minutes for October, as a quorum was not reached. Report: The survey for the property beyond the MECT has been postponed and will hopefully be included in the 2019 Borough budget. Action Items: The new wreaths were put up last week in time for the Christmas Parade by the Madison Electric Department. The white lights were hung on the lampposts on Saturday, November 17, thanks to the efforts of Mayor Conley, Council Member John Hoover, John Morris, Chuck Ellis, Bob Rocco, Suzy Whitehorn, Laura Cole and Ian Coen. On Wednesday, November 21, the first 96 new wreath bows ere put up with the help of Michael Pellessier and Suzy Whitehorn. The rest of wreath bows are in and will be hung over the course of the next few days. c) Marketing and Economic Development: Eric Range, Leslie Lajewski, Carla Brady, Deb Starker Melanie Tomaszewski, John Morris, Karen Giambra, Michael Pellessier. Chair TBD. Report: The Committee met on Wednesday, October 24 at 7:30 pm with Vicky Vitarelli and Kris Pfeifer to review proposals from local professionals. She spoke briefly about the Shade Tree Management Board meeting attended earlier in the day. The STMB is beginning to formulate plans for tree replacement in the Historic Downtown, the DDC will be asked to 3|Page be involved. Report: The survey for the property beyond the MECT will be completed before the end of the year. Wreaths will be in on November 14. Action Items: Volunteer sign-ups for holiday light installation, dates were determined. The plan is to put them up the weekend of November 17-18.
