Opening Remarks
Ms. Honohan called the meeting to order at approximately 7:35 pm.
Minutes
Ms. Honohan then presented the minutes for approval to the Committee. There being no comments, the
minutes were duly moved and approved.
Overview and Status of Open Space Fund Account
Ms. Honohan presented an overview and the status of the Open Space Fund Account for discussion.
Council-member Baillie provided an update on current projects.
Application from Borough of Madison
Ms. Honohan then presented the application submitted by the Borough of Madison (BOM) regarding the
Museum of Early Trades and Crafts (METC). In connection with Committee questions, Council-member
Baillie explained that the BOM is responsible for amounts above a certain threshold for care of the METC
building – a BOM building. The BOM application provided a request for $15,000 to remediate mold in the
basement of the METC building to protect museum archives. The requested funds are expected to be
used during the 2020 calendar year. A motion was duly made and approved to approve the application
submitted by BOM.
Simplification and Update to the Open Space Fund Application Process
Ms. Honohan then turned to a discussion on the current application process regarding the review and
approval of funds granted by the Committee. Members of the Committee discussed potential next steps
to simplify the application and expect to review and discuss further at the next Committee meeting. It
was then noted that the Committee would discuss a potential park proposal in Executive Session.

A motion was duly made and approved to adjourn the meeting.
