A copy of the resolution that was adopted on June 14, 2018 was distributed to all Board members previously. Storm-water Management along with Impervious Coverage issues were discussed at length. As the Assistant Borough Engineer, Mr. Frank Russo opined on the issue of soils in each area and storm-water measures that may or may not be efficient for these zoning board cases. Each Zoning Board case that appears before the Zoning Board should be looked at on an individual basis. The next subject discussed was the zoning of Laurel Way. This street is zoned as an R-1 (Single- Family Residential) Zone. However; it appears that most of the homes have lot sizes significantly smaller than the 25,000 square foot minimum that applies to the zone. The Zoning Board would like to see specific regulations applicable to emergency generators on residential lots. Mr. Russo stated that generators are handled as an accessory structure such as an air conditioning unit. Mr. Loughlin stated that he would send to the Board and Assistant Borough Engineer an Ordinance that was adopted in another town on this subject. Mr. Tombalakian thanked Mr. Santoro for coming this evening and discussing the 2017 Annual Report with the Board.  Outdoor Dining This topic is moving forward. Mr. Russo, Assistant Borough Engineer expressed his concerns with this subject matter. Board members also provided their input on the subject.
