Members in attendance: Dr. Singh, Chairman, Mrs. Carrington and Mrs. Magny Clerk; Christopher Webb 1. Mr. Webb informed the Board about Councilor Winslow’s Resolve asking the Board of Health to consider an Alternate member to attend meetings in place of appointed members. The Chairman asked if the Board had the authority to decide it’s makeup. Mr. Webb informed him that it may require a City Charter change and that current regulation for a City Health Board is three members and a regional health board or commission is 5 members. The Dr. Singh said that the matter is not for the Board to decide and that Mr. Webb must do more research to determine what body can make these changes. 2. COVID – 19 Updates – Mr. Webb informed the Board that recently radio ads and billboards to promote vaccination in multiple languages and focused on people of color, people who’s second language is English and recently arrived immigrants. The Health Dept. will continue to conduct outreach to the eligible population for vaccination. 3. ARPA Grant – Mr. Webb informed the Board that he was going to submit a proposal for funding for a Medical Administrative Assistant to support the Public Health Nurses 4. Meet Paul Hammersley – Cancelled. Mr. Hammersley was on vacation. Motion to adjourn by Mrs. Carrington, Seconded by Mrs. Magny. Meeting adjourned 7:20PM.
