Brown – Absent CITY OFFICIALS COURT REPORTER City Attorney Patrick Gunn Lauren Goodman City Administrator Andy Hixson ATTENDEES Mark Hicks CASE #16-V-004 Ahmed Jakupovis CASE #16-V-005 CALL TO ORDER Vice-Chairman Mayer called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and asked City Administrator Hixson to call the roll. The record of attendance is shown above. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A motion to approve the May 12, 2016 minutes as submitted was made by Member Moeckel and seconded by Member Nissenbaum. The minutes were approved 3-0 with Member Miller abstaining. OLD BUSINESS None NEW BUSINESS CASE #16-V-004 City Administrator Hixson gave the details of the variance case: A variance application is submitted by Mark Hicks of Mark Hicks, LLC, on behalf of Jared Eggers to encroach into the side yard setback by two feet for the purpose of replacing a deck at 7 Forrester. The property is zoned R-1 Single Family Residential. City Administrator Hixson verified the adjacent property owners were notified about the variance request and the City had received no feedback regarding this case. Testimony #1 - Mark Hicks Page 1 of 2 With all the questions satisfactorily answered, Member Moeckel made a motion and seconded by Member Nissenbaum to approve the variance. The resulting vote was 4-0 in favor of the variance. CASE #16-V-005 City Administrator Hixson gave the details of the variance case: A variance application is submitted by Jasmina & Ahmed Jakupovic to encroach into the side yard setback by two feet and six inches for the purpose of building an addition in line with an existing side wall at 963 Hanna Road. City Administrator Hixson verified the adjacent property owners were notified about the variance request and the City had received no feedback regarding this case. Testimony #1 – Ahmed Jakupovic With all the questions satisfactorily answered, Member Moeckel made a motion and seconded by Member Miller to approve the variance. The resulting vote was 4-0 in favor of the variance. ADJOURNMENT Member Miller made a motion and seconded by Member Nissenbaum to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned at 7:05.
