CITY OF MANCHESTER BOARD OF ALDERMEN BUDGET WORK SESSION MINUTES March 10, 2021 A meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Manchester, Missouri was held at 6:00 p.m. on the 10th day of March 2021. Call to Order Mayor Clement called the Work Session to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll Call and Statement of Quorum Roll call showed those present were Alderman Huether, Alderman Nolte, Alderman Ottenad, Alderman Baumann, Alderman Toben, and Mayor Clement. A quorum of the Board of Aldermen was present. Discussion of Proposed Annexation Mayor Clement and members of the Board reviewed and discussed the proposed annexation areas on the City’s northeastern boundary and a portion of the City’s southwestern boundary along Sulphur Spring Road. Directors from each department reported on the effects that annexation would have on their respective department. Additionally, members of the Board submitted questions to Department Directors regarding the effects of annexation on the City. Mayor Clement inquired to the Board of Aldermen if City staff and officials should continue with the analysis of annexation in the proposed areas. There were no objections from the Board. Adjournment There being no further discussion, Alderman Ottenad made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Alderman Huether seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote.
