CITY OF MANCHESTER BOARD OF ALDERMEN SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES June 23, 2021 A meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Manchester, Missouri was held at 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd day of June 2021. Call to Order Mayor Clement called the Special Meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. Roll Call and Statement of Quorum Roll call showed those present were Alderman Huether, Alderman Hudson, Alderman Nolte, Alderman Ottenad, Alderman Baumann, and Mayor Clement. Alderman Toben was absent. A quorum of the Board of Aldermen was present. Consideration of Special Item Bill No. 21-2438 - Public Works Department Appointment Alderman Ottenad read Bill No. 21-2438, entitled: “AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING TYLER JAYCOX AS THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE CITY OF MANCHESTER, SETTING THE SALARY, AND ESTABLISHING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SAID EMPLOYMENT,” by title only. Alderman Ottenad stated emergency legislation had been requested and made a motion for approval of emergency legislation. The motion was seconded by Alderman Baumann. The motion carried unanimously without objection. Alderman Ottenad read for the second time Bill No. 21-2438, entitled: “AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING TYLER JAYCOX AS THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE CITY OF MANCHESTER, SETTING THE SALARY, AND ESTABLISHING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SAID EMPLOYMENT,” by title only. Alderman Ottenad made a motion that Bill No. 21-2438 become Ordinance No. 21-2323. The motion was seconded by Alderman Huether. A roll call of the Board showed: Board of Aldermen – Special Meeting – June 23, 2021 Alderman Toben – absent Alderman Baumann – aye Alderman Ottenad – aye Alderman Huether – aye Alderman Hudson – aye Alderman Nolte – aye Adjournment There being no further discussion, Alderman Ottenad made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
