MINUTES OF THE WORK SESSION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2022 AT 14317 MANCHESTER ROAD CALL TO ORDER Mayor Mike Clement called the Work Session of the Board of Aldermen Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. ROLL CALL AND STATEMENT OF QUORUM Roll call showed those present were Alderman Nolte, Alderman Dodge, Alderman Ottenad, Alderman Huether, Alderman Toben, Alderman Baumann and Mayor Clement. A quorum was present. CONSIDERATION OF FISCAL YEAR 2023 BUDGET Code Enforcement John Plowman discussed having the correct tools to be able check for extra moisture in drywall and carbon monoxide. Currently they would need to contact the fire department for carbon monoxide checking. Code Enforcement shared paperwork on the tools that would benefit the department when it comes to home inspections. Director of Planning and Zoning Todd Streiler spoke about wanting the ARC GIS software. MIS Dave Fox spoke about the current situation with the Board room. MIS Fox spoke about getting a camera in the ceiling instead of having it on the floor. It would help when it comes Zoom Meetings. Director of Public Works Errol Tate spoke about getting some of the maintenance workers some training in construction inspections. He said all training would be local. Director of Finance Shawn Sieve stated that he plans to hire in 2023 for the accounting position. Discussions continued with Mayor Clement and members of the Board. All reviewed and discussed the proposed FY2023 budget. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, Alderman Ottenad made the motion to adjourn.
