MANISTEE CITY COUNCIL s WORK SESSION 100- MINUTES OF MARCH 23, 2010 The Manistee City Council met in a work session on Tuesday,March 23,2010 at 7: 00 p. Council m., Chambers, City Hall. MEMBERS PRESENT: Alan Marshall, Ilona Haydon, Colleen Kenny, Bob Hornkohl,Hank Yonkman MEMBERS ABSENT: Richard Mack, Second District Council Seat OTHERS PRESENT: Allied Waste Representatives, Department Directors, Public and Media Discussion on Refuse Request for Proposals. Refuse Request for Proposals were due March 16, 2010, only one proposal from Allied Waste was received. A presentation was made by Finance Director Ed Bradford. Following the presentation Council discussed the proposals. After considerable discussion a consensus started to form around Alternate C, Automated Collection.
