AD HOC HOUSING COMMITTEE MEETING NOTES OF JULY 30, 2025 A meeting of the Ad Hoc Events Committee was held Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in the First Floor Conference Room, City Hall, Manistee. The meeting commenced at 2:00 p.m. PRESENT: Jermaine Sullivan, Tracy Davis, Theresa Waldo, Mark Sochocki, Bill Gambill, Andrew Stafford, Jeff Mikula, Katie Gruenberg ABSENCE: Laurie Hatchew Reviewed Objective of Committee • Bill Gambill reviewed the objective of the committee – To work with the Housing Commission to make recommendations regarding the scatted sites and through other partnerships identify new housing initiatives to bring before Council for their consideration. Discussed Housing Commission Sites for RAD Conversion Discussion included: • Old Manistee Hospital property – walkable, near schools and grocery store.
