The meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm by Chair Trucks. Members Present: William Connor, Lee Trucks, Angie Quinn, Kathryn Kenny, Thad Taylor, Dennis Otto Members Absent: Ron Helmboldt Others: Katie Mehl (City Zoning /Planner 1) and Nancy Baker (Recording Secretary) APPROVAL OF AGENDA MOTION by Commissioner Quinn, seconded by Commissioner Taylor to approve the agenda as printed. Motion passed with a voice vote. CONFLICT OF INTEREST None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION by Commissioner Taylor, seconded by Commissioner Kenny to approve the May 3, 2023 minutes as printed. Motion passed with a voice vote. PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA RELATED ITEMS None NEW BUSINESS COA (Certificate of Appropriateness) Request—369 River Street MOTION by Commissioner Connor, seconded by Commissioner Taylor to accept the request of COA for 369 River Street. Discussion: Brandon Ball-applicant stated the project is to be completed by winter or sooner, the following are being used—2 windows being replaced with fiberglass doors, install metal escapes. With a roll call vote. Motion passed. Mr. Gambill-City Manager: bringing city zoning back inhouse, job being posted soon, transitioning September 30th, hiring building official and community development director/planning and zoning administrator. Ms. Quinn: some historic sites are outside historic district, city can apply for grants for historic study. Mr. Gambill-this could be added to the website, contact Mr. Fedder (Museum Curator) for information on buildings within the city.
